Biography

New York-based post-hardcore band Glassjaw is heavily influenced by old-school hardcore punk, but they filter it through thrash metal, modern rock, and a healthy dose of freewheeling experimentalism to create something fresh and contemporary-sounding. The band started making a splash with their 2000 full-length debut, EVERYTHING YOU EVER WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT SILENCE, and their profile has grown steadily ever since, both in the U.S. and abroad.
