Biography

Known for his vocal acrobatics, Mike Patton is not so much a singer as he is an innovator in manipulation of the human voice. Most notable as the quirky vocalist for San Francisco-based alternative metal combo Faith No More, Patton has an extensive list of credits, including his first band, Mr. Bungle, as well as Peeping Tom, Tomahawk, and Fantômas. He has collaborated at length with experimental instrumentalist John Zorn, guest-vocalized on over 30 albums, and released three solo discs. Ever the workhorse, Patton recently began lending his voice to video games but still makes time to record provocative music.
