Biography

A highly influential British industrial dance ensemble, Meat Beat Manifesto's musical and artistic vision has always been about sensory overload. From their sampledelic mix of beats and grooves to their multi-media visual-heavy live shows, MBM have been thrilling audiences since their inception at the dawn of the rave era in the late 1980s. Although the ensemble evolved right alongside the larger dance culture, their sound remained rooted in an experimental ethos and is both body-moving and ear-blasting. They continued to release records into the 2000s.
