Radar Bros.

A showcase for singer-songwriter Jim Putnam, blending dreamy indie rock and alt-country twang.

Biography

Radar Bros. (although it's pronounced "Radar Brothers," the band always use the abbreviated form) is primarily a showcase for Los Angeles singer-songwriter Jim Putnam, the only constant member. The band's mixture of dreamy indie rock and alt-country twang began with their 1996 self-titled debut, followed by 1999's THE SINGING HATCHET, 2002's AND THE SURROUNDING MOUNTAINS, 2005's THE FALLING LEAF PAGES, and 2008's AUDITORIUM. Original bassist Senon Williams left Radar Bros to join Cambodia-influenced indie rockers Dengue Fever.
