Biography

Taking the energy and DIY attitude of punk and blending it with the tight grooves and booming bass of classic American funk and R&B, Leeds band the Delta 5 were one of the key players in the British post-punk movement of the late 1970s and early '80s, and had a tremendous influence on a wave of dance-punk bands that emerged nearly three decades later.
