Powerful, anthemic, soulful, spry U.K. indie band danced at the edge of brit pop.
Part of the Britpop third wave, Embrace broke out in the U.K. in the late 1990s with a series of a hit singles and a debut album, THE GOOD WILL OUT, that shot to the top of the British charts. The band made a name for itself singing anthemic and atmospheric rock more akin to Oasis than Blur. Their 2004 comeback album, OUT OF NOTHING, once again saw Embrace topping the charts--thanks in part to a single written by Chris Martin of Coldplay. Their song "World At Your Feet" became the official song of the English football squad during the 2006 World Cup.
