Biography

English R&B sensation Craig David started writing songs as a teenager. Craig's big break came with a remix of Damage's "I'm Ready," and his own remixed version of Human League's "Human," which secured him a regular spot in area clubs. "Rewind" was another underground smash; however, his own vocal talent was beginning to shine. "Fill Me In" proved yet another hit, shooting straight to number one in summer 2000. A deal with Wildstar Records in the U.K. and Atlantic in the U.S. led to the sale of a staggering 3.5 million records worldwide. His record sales continued to soar with Born to Do It and 2002's Slicker Than Your Average. ~ MacKenzie Wilson
