Sondre Lerche

Melodic, '60s-pop influenced singer-songwriter from Norway who debuted while still in his teens.

Biography

Norwegian singer/songwriter Sondre Lerche was an early bloomer, delivering his debut album in 2001 when he was just 19 years old. From the beginning, he displayed a natural gift for melodic, '60s-pop-influenced music, and his writing developed at a striking pace over his next few albums. His third, DUPER SESSIONS was an acoustic-based effort with strings, nodding to some of Lerche's inspirations with covers of Elvis Costello and Prefab Sprout. In 2007 he snared a wider audience by providing most of the music for the film DAN IN REAL LIFE.
