Biography

A product of Pennsylvania, alternative rockers Fuel released their debut full-length, Sunburn, in 1998. The record went platinum thanks to airplay for [roviLink="MC"]"Shimmer," [roviLink="MC"]"Bittersweet," [roviLink="MC"]"Jesus or a Gun," and the title track (the latter was featured on the Scream 3 soundtrack). Fuel's second album, Something Like Human, spawned the Top 40 hit [roviLink="MC"]"Hemorrhage (In My Hands)." Fuel followed that with 2003's Natural Selection, which was another Billboard success thanks to the strident lead single [roviLink="MC"]"Falls on Me." Lead singer and guitarist Brett Scallions departed in 2005, prompting the addition of Toryn Green later that year. Angels & Devils was finally released in August of 2007. ~ Jason Ankeny
