Gary Moore

Talented Northern Irish singer and guitarist, best known for his acclaimed blues-influenced music.

Biography

One of rock's most underrated guitarists (both from a technical and compositional point of view), Gary Moore remains relatively unknown in the U.S., while his solo output has brought him substantial acclaim and commercial success in most other parts of the world. From his work in the U.K. group Skid Row, Moore began a long relationship with Phil Lynott, with whom he would eventually perform with again in Thin Lizzy. Along with his stint in that notable group, Moore helmed several collaborative and solo projects with such rock icons les as Rod Argent, Cozy Powell, Greg Lake, Ginger Baker, and Jack Bruce. ~ Greg Prato & J.
