Prolific figure of the 1990s DIY lo-fi scene.

Omaha's Simon Joyner crept onto the indie scene in the early 1990s as part of the burgeoning DIY lo-fi scene, alongside acts like the Mountain Goats and Beck. The singer-songwriter maintained a burgeoning release schedule through the decade, beginning with 1992's UMBILICAL CHORDS and including high points like 1994's THE COWARDLY TRAVELER PAYS HIS TOLL.
